Duddingston Kirk is the local parish church for the Church of Scotland in the parish of Duddingston in south-east Edinburgh.
The Church of Scotland is Reformed and Presbyterian, and acknowledges the Lord Jesus Christ as sole head of the Church.
Worship has been taking place in Duddingston Kirk since the twelfth century.

Greater involvement of the Church in the lives of people of all ages,
greater involvement of people of all ages in the life of the Church,
enabling the presence of Christ in the world to be seen
through distinctive ministry opportunities at Duddingston.

The minister is available for anyone wishing to see him on most Wednesday evenings from 6.30 to 8 pm in the Gatehouse.
No appointment is necessary.

A Passion Play has been staged in Duddingston Kirk’s grounds and village every five years since 2003. The most recent performance was on Easter Day 2018.
Guided Tours of Duddingston Kirk are available by appointment.
